And now we’re down to our second to the last day of our Mindoro vacation. We are still in the resort where we spent a night of short sleep (I could’t wait to swim again!). All of us woke up early. Each one looked for her own nook for QT (quiet time) purposes.
Karen chose the poolside
After my quiet time outside our room, I jumped into the pool for a morning exercise and leisure in one. Ahhh… to wake up those tired muscles with a little pressure … to find your way to the bottommost part of the pool … to lay on your wet back and stare at the sky and just enjoy Him. After a few minutes of swishing and splashing in the pool alone, Anne joined me.
Anne enjoys the fresh water
After that, we enjoyed a much-awaited breakfast. I really liked the boiled mushrooms which I got to taste for the first time. And then, it’s videoke time again! Come on! Haha!
Anne initiates the 3rd round of videoke, Mommy Ka prepares a drink, Gina took an early morning dip, Age enjoys her coffee and Haze takes this shot
Haze enjoys her drink too
O sige na, sige na. Ako na ang maglea-lead ng sayaw. Ito naman papel ko
O Age, ihataw mo naman. Bigay na bigay kami ni Anne eh. At saka, humarap ka naman sa camera
O sige na nga, sali na rin ako
Haze prefers disco music
‘Yan. O asan na si Ka. Grabe na toh
Ayun, ‘yun pala ang gusto ni Ka
Later on, everyone was lining up her own song. Each one has her own type of music.
Yes, if you’re all wondering, humahataw din po si Karen
Are-you-having-fun videoke galore
Literally interpreting the lyrics
Videoke was so much fun! We were singing and dancing and jumping and playing around! We were teasing each other with the songs that we selected and the message of the lyrics!
During our singing sessions, some us had our nails cleaned and colored. Pampering galore!
Let’s talk nails
Thank you to the manikurista
Just before Karen had finished her nail sessions, we transferred to a cottage to enjoy our fabulous lunch! We had to let go of the mic and the videoke machine because some other bakasyunistas came in.
As always, the food was great!
Lunch sa cottage (I can’t believe Haze passed. She said she’s busog so she just ate dessert)
Malasang-malasa ang tinolang manok
Sarap ng inihaw na bangus at ng dessert na gulaman!
Sobrang thank you to our hostess, Ge
After lunch, we took time to rest. This was the first time since we arrived that heavy rain poured. Praise God still! The cool weather gave us a perfectly cool afternoon to bum around. While Ka finishes her nails session and Haze reads her baon na mga libro; Age, Anne and I loaded all our pictures from three different cameras into Age’s laptop. We can’t stop laughing while viewing each picture on a larger LCD! Each one created a unique story with jokes that only the five of us can relate to. During this time, we probably burned more calories than when we did while swimming.
At around 3 o’clock, we dcided to leave the comforts of the resort and start getting ready to face a more natural, challenging and grand destination — the beach! So we grabbed our bags and posed for our last shot inside the resort.
We had a superb time at the resort! Thank you Lord!
It’s another tricycle ride going to San Jose town. It was funny because all seven of us (including Tita Letty and the driver) forced ourselves in one trike only!
Wild trike back riders
Taking it positively, I, Age and Karen, had a wonderful view of the greenery on our way to the beach. It was so much fun!
Naka-survive kaming tatlo sa likod ng motorsiklo! Haha! Miss, pasok ka
Aroma beach, here we come … again!
nice photos…..
